Winter camping is an advanced and challenging adventure. The winter camper has a respect for nature that summer campers will never have. But as with most things in life, the most rewarding experience is the one that takes the most effort. If it were easy, then the personal reward and satisfaction that a winter camp out gives would not be the same. 

A Boy Scout has a unique opportunity to experience this first hand at Parker Scout Reservation during the best 4 months of the year.  Come on, try something new, like Winter camping.  Food, Fun, For real.

Our camp includes three different programs for scouts and adults of all ages and experiences. Every scout must attend the Alpha Lupus Training Program to learn the basics of winter camping.  Then they have the option to go into the Kota Program, where they will begin to improve their winter camping skills. After attending the Kota Program scouts can take there winter camping experience to the next level by partaking in the Kota Expedition Project.  

We are always in need of volunteers to share their skills and experinces on camping in the Winter.  Contact us if you would like to help every scout realize their potential.
